We Need Your Help
SANA SILVER JUBILEE CONVENTION in ST.Louis, Missouri USA is rapidly building up momentum for an event that we hope will be fun, as well as memorable. In anticipation of the whole hearted participation of the Sindhi community in North America, we have already gone ahead with the selection and booking of the Hotel, decorations, food, entertainment and all the myriad details that are required to make this historic event successful.
While we are fortunate to have an exceptionally motivated group of volunteers who are very generously putting in a lot of time and energy into this endeavor, there is also the need for fairly substantial amounts of money to fund the activities and services at the Convention. This is Your Event and only your generosity can make it happen.
As in the previous Conventions, registration fees paid by the delegates cover only a part of the expenses. The largest expenditures are for venue rental, food and entertainment (paid and non- paid performers). The shortfall is usually covered by generous SANA Member Donors, publishing a souvenir on the occasion, and from the rental of a few exhibition booths at the venue some times.
You can help in many ways. Some of them are listed below. Please remember that all donations to SANA are tax deductible against US income for those filing returns with the IRS.
1. Donations: Donations of any amount, large and however small, are welcomed and gratefully acknowledged by the SANA EC. Past Conventions have been largely possible due to the generosity of many SANA donors who have carried the Conventions on the backs of their generosity. These wonderful
Sindhi people have had the commitment to support an endeavor which celebrates our heritage,our organization and to them we are always grateful. We are confident that they will continue their valuable support. If you would like to make a donation, or if you can encourage others to donate, please ensure the cheque, in US or Canadian funds, is mailed to the address at the bottom of this message. 3. Advertisements: SANA will be releasing a Souvenir that will be printed on glossy paper in color and distributed to over 1000 North American Sindhis. This is a tremendous opportunity for advertisers to reach out to a select group of individuals and households in North America with above average income levels. If you or anyone you know would like to utilize this exciting medium to reach out to this market, do contact us. In the past, people have used the Souvenir with considerable success.
